Angelo holds a USSF Class D license as well as MPA coaching certificate
and has been involved in Soccer as a player and a coach for over 45
years.
A native of Athens, Greece Angelo grew up in Massachusetts where he
made the Greater Boston High School League All Stars 3 years in a row.
Angelo played his collage soccer at Boston University graduating with a
B.S. in Physical Education in 1980.

After collage, he joined the developmental team for the New England Tea
Man in the NASL, and has also played in the Las Vegas Premier League for
Sparta F.C., In Massachusetts in the A League for Acropolis F.C., and in
the Lusa League for Lawrence Port- America F.C. as well as assorted
men’s teams in New Hampshire and Southern Maine.
Angelo started his coaching career as the first women’s soccer coach at
Boston University in the (spring of 1980). Angelo has also served as the
goalie coach for UNLV men’s soccer(fall 1980, thru spring 1982) . Upon
returning to Massachusetts he coached at Northern Essex Community
Collage for 2 years taking them to the finals both years.
He has coached at the youth level since 1979 as volunteer coach of
Haverhill Ma. Youth Soccer u-13 Boys Travel, and head coach
Haverhill U-20 Select Indoor Soccer Team(1988).
After moving to Maine in 1990 Angelo has served as the goalie coach for
Scarborough High Boys(1991-1993), Scarborough Middle School 7th
grade girls(1995), J.V. and Assistant varsity coach Scarborough High
School(1996-1998), Head Coach at the U-10 ,U-11,U-12, and U-13 Boys
and Girls teams for Scarborough Soccer Club, Assistant Coach MMFC
U-13 to Brian Cook , Assistant Coach MMFC U-13 to John Skelton.
