CSRDP TOURNAMENT RESULTS

MAINE METRO U-12 GIRLS PLACE SECOND AT THE CSRDP TOURNAMENT IN MONTREAL!

Maine Metro U-12 girls were outstanding at the 2001 CSRDP International Tournament in Montreal Canada.  The team  opened the tournament with a solid victory over the Roadrunners CSRDP 3-1, and rolled over the Select Brossard team 3-0 in their second game.

The semi-final game against Mustangs Lasalle proved to be one of the best games of the tournament.  Under the blistering Canadian heat, our girls stood up to the fierce challenge from a very physical Canadian team, who is currently undefeated in the Montreal U-14 girls division this year.    The game ended in a 1-0 victory for Mustangs Lasalle.  Mustangs Lasalle went on to win the finals against MMFC 1-0 later in the day.

The U-12 boys and U-13 boys also had good showings, but failed to qualify for the semifinals in either division.   We are looking forward to redeeming ourselves next year.
