PRIVATE TRAINING

Throughout the year, many players are interested in gaining the extra work through 1v1 training that may increase their player development. Training sessions by a MMFC staff coach (either collegiate coach or USSF licensed) can be arranged by contacting mmfc@maine.rr.com. Goal keeper training is also available. Training sessions will provide a 1:1 player-to-coach ratio. Larger groups will be available 2 or more to 1 ratio. The cost per session will be a minimum of $35.00/hour/player for individual training and $25.00/hour/player for group training. See training fee chart below for more information.

Each training session will include a challenging training curriculum that supplies each player with the proper tools needed to play the game of soccer. It will involve proper stretching techniques, warm-up, fundamental development drills (i.e. passing, receiving, heading, trapping, shooting, ball control, etc.), fundamental application techniques, game tactics, and much more. Each lesson will be designed to help each individual player reach their highest potential.

Each session will be an hour and a half (1 1/2 hours) long

Progressive teaching / learning environment

Personal lesson = 1 student to 1 instructor

Semi-Private Lesson = 2 : 1 ratio

Group Lesson = 3 or more to 1 ratio

Strong emphasis on fundamentals, tactical understanding, and conditioning

Common / advanced game situations players face and learning how to deal with each
situation

Highly motivated workouts, with primary focus on developing a complete player

10 sessions = $36 per player per session

20 sessions = $28 per player per session
